Dear Colleauges,

I would like to introduce myself, after discovering you website and forum. I'm a stained glass artist who trained in the United Kingdom during the 1970's before returning to Sydney Australia and starting my own studio. Over the last 30 years, I've been quietly working away on a range of traditional and modern architectural commissions for ecclesiastical and secular clients. My primary focus is glass painting and design and because of my training; work produced includes a range of figurative works in various styles, as well as a number of large scale architectural works. Due to some health problems my output has been reduced, however I'm now in much better and hope to get back to work.

Just recently, I've put together a website which includes some of my projects during the last 25 years and explains how I work. Because I'm unlikely to have the opportunity to meet you all personally, I thought it might be a way of both introducing myself and establishing my credentials.

The glass scene in Australia is by comparison to the US and Canada, quite small and there isn't a lot of stained glass work. Australia has been descibed as a secular society and has a population of less than 20 million. The industry here is composed of a small group of artist who are scattered across the continent and tend to work in relative isolation. So, it is a delight to have the opportunity to converse with colleauges who share my passion for glass, design and its magic qualities.

Best wishes - Lance Feeney
