For the past three years I have been working diligently at creating a website (www.fluorescentgallery.com), producing artwork, marketing the site and the work. So far…a one man show. I have a few hundred very satisfied customers to date. But there is no reason why I shouldn’t have several thousand satisfied customers. I’ve been told by pretty much everyone that this invention is just TOO Good. Because the growth of my lighting idea has been slower than I would like, I have recently begun to ask the question “Am I a brilliant inventor, excellent web merchant, skilled marketer…but average artist?” I don’t know for sure.
I’m beginning to consider that the future form of this highly successful business will consist of me providing the vehicle for other artists to distribute their work via this lighting medium. I have had this vision for some time, but this is the first time that I have contacted other artists regarding it.
I would certainly like to hear from you if you are interested. If you’re not interested, or this would be considered undesirable to an artist for some reason, let me know that also. I’ve just begun to research this idea, and I want to fully understand the artist’s viewpoint.
