: I've tracked down part of the problem with the registration process on the new forum. It seems that Hotmail is filtering the activation email completely (i.e. not even putting it in the Junk mail folder). I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to get emails through to hotmail, but in the meantime the best thing to do would be to register with an email address from another service (e.g. GMail).
