Kildonan is on the southeast coast of Arran on a road that branches off the main road. It is directly across from Pladda Island. You have obviously found my gggfather Peter and his older brother Donald both of whom emigrated to New Brunswick, Canada in the early 1800s. I haven't been able to find the parents of Donald Murchie & Jean McCurdy as I don't have access to the OPR. I understand that this surname was previously MacMurchie, but not sure where this information came from.
