wiping out our board

Matt the restored board has a crazy energy. I cannot delete it from admin since it is the old archive.
My first question is if you delete all the posts will they still remain in my archive?
If the answer is yes can you delete all the posts and we will start fresh. I will just refer people to the archive for any info they need.
