I'm sure we sold them to Uttam Chuck-a-ravory, to make up his mammoth 100x4 bass "wall of sound", which he transported to gigs in his mothers' wheeled shopping basket (pronounced wheel - ed show-ping bar-sket).
Anyhow, I digress...The headboard has relay contacts (obtained by legal means) from the GPO (BT to all you youngsters out there), either via Jim Bone or Pete Groves.

The contacts were sellotaped down, and the whole kit and caboodle controlled a simple oscillator.
