Looking forward to November's local acoustic music.
Tues 3rd Nov.
Folk night at the Manor is a themed night. Performers
are asked to think of something based, however loosely
,on the Environment/nature.
Transition Town exmouth are supporting the night, as
are Environment students from Bicton College.
A raffle will be held to support TTE. This is a new
venture for 1st Tuesdays.
1st dec will be a world music night.
Sat 14th Nov... The Shantymen in concert at the
Blackmore Theatre. Tickets normally go fast...£6 from
the Town hall.
Tues 17th Folk Night at the Manor ( 8.00) all welcome.
Mon 2nd Acoustic blues night at the Bridge Topsham.
Regular sessions.
Mondays at the Old Barrel. Acoustic open mic,
different hosts each week.
9th November is a special....Our 1st birthday (its
also my birthday!) so there will be a free buffet and a
great line up of music.
Wednesdays at 11a Church St. Drum workshop from 9.00
followed byb open mic and featured guest.
Thursdays at the Bicton.
5th Folk and Blues Jam.
12th Sidney's Bicton Classicals.
19th Oddie and friends
26th Dave Green.
Lympstone folk 2nd Wednesday(11th) at the Globe,
Lympstone 8.30
Nashville rash, now at its new home...the Old
Barrel....Weds 19th.
Thursdays at the Beacon Vaults....open jam.
Topsham Folk Club every Sunday at the Globe, Topsham,
8.30.
1st Dec will be the Worls Music folk night, with
African drumming, didgeridoo etc. Centocow twinning and
Christian aid are beneficiaries of the evening.

rafters off. Sold out last time so early booking - as
they say - 'recomended'.(Did I spell that right
?)

THURSDAY NOVEMBER 19TH at THE
GLOBE HOTEL the phenomenon that is JOANNE SHAW TAYLOR
with her band. PHEW !"!! The best looking Blues
guitarist to come out of Brum and judging by her last
show, guaranteed to get everyone's pulses runnin' a bit
higher....

28TH at THE GLOBE one of my personal great heroes DICK
GAUGHAN
One of nature's finest human beings, a phenomenal
singer and guitarist....well you probably know what
Dick's about - he's a legend - I can't wait. Tickets
for all these events will be available sooner or later
at Joel Segal's Bookshop ! But - please feel free to
hassle me at any time should you feel the system ain't
working - which it probably won't be...
