Hi Brook,
I agree with what you're saying about Ozzy, except the reality is that he's just not capable of standing on his own and providing the support that Sharon deserves. Overall he seems to be in a lot worse shape than she is, whether he's sober or not! I'm sure she knew what she was getting when she hooked up with him and is okay with it (considering she's stayed with him all these years) so she probably doesn't expect or even need his support - even now. She's an amazing woman, isn't she? I admire her strength and intelligence.
Yeah, I think MTV needs a lesson in compassion! Ratings ratings ratings...they aren't about to drop this cash cow until it dies on its own. I really loved the first season of the Osbournes (like everyone else), but these new episodes make me feel guilty about ever laughing at them. You kind of get the feeling you're intruding on their pain. That's why I posted about this because I was wondering if it was just me who feels this way. It's good to know you had the same reaction.
I can't stand reality TV - I don't watch Survivor, Big Brother, The Bachelor etc. It's a big waste of time, plus the events on those shows are so micromanaged that it's a joke to even call it "reality". The Osbournes was different though!
