Hey Bing,

Thanks again for your thoughts - I love throwing these ideas around. The Creator thing is most certainly a comfort to me, but it's one based on a great deal of thought. I refuse to believe something just cause someone told me I should, or because it's tradition, or because it makes me secure. I'm interested in what's real. If it's an escape from reality then I'm just lying to myself. The more I learn about our Earth and the minute amount of stuff I know about our solar system, the more I believe that it could not be here without a designer. I think it's just fairy tale to believe that it happened without any form of planning, way too complex and well-planned, I think. It seems the more mankind probes our solar system and beyond, the more significant earth is becoming. You'd think it would be the other way around. So much seems to exist to keep the earth functioning and protected. Doesn't Jupiter act as a great vacuum cleaner drawing in most of the stuff that could wipe us out? Why?

I think there are so many signposts to the significance of humanity. Because of what I've already said above about the division of soul and spirit, I definately believe in a Creator with personality, I think there is no basis for the existence of spirit if the creator is blind force. I think if it happens to be true that a Pesonal Creator has put us here, then the significance of humanity is great indeed. It makes me think of that beautiful Hebrew poem that says,

"When I consider the heavens, the work of thy fingers,
The moon and the stars which thou hast appointed,
What is man that thou dost take thought of him,
and the son of man, that thou dost care for him?"

I always think of that poem when I look up at the stars, you know.

The telepathic idea is a possibility, but I agree, it's scary.....I'd avoid it as much as I'd avoid astral travel.

Good tawkin' with ya.

Liah
