Who's this imposter?

I've seen the band in the US and the bass player is a fat pompous swaying drunk who can barely stand.

The drummer's a laugh and front man is pretty cool - plays like Clapton/Knopfler.

The music rocks, but the band's image sucks big time.

6/10 from me.

: Yes, I have seen the Crush group live in the UK. They were extremely good, especially the drummer and the bass player. They had a wonderful live sound. Loud enough to be heard but quiet enough to be powerful. They rely on the power of the performance, not the power of the amplifiers.
: The drummer was idiosyncratic in style but very sympathetic in his playing and singing.
: The bass player was authoritative and melodic with a deep deep sinusoidal tone. The bass and drums mesh as one instrument. I couldn’t pick out the kick most of the time because the bass line and kick drum patterns were so co-ordinate. Each created acres of space for each other to shine in but at the same time managing to sound as a huge great oneness. It’s a level of empathy that is not often witnessed except in the greats (or digitally created artificial tracks). It made a sound as hypnotic and satisfying as only the best hip-hop, Beethoven symphony or Miles Davis can usually create.
: The rhythm guitar player/ singer was OK.
