Amen, Amen, Amen to that!
Peter gives us his music, fans don't own him. Peter is a person and if Peter doesn't make people happy being the person he is, then those unhappy fans need to find someone who can make them happy and respect Peter for the person he is, regardless of his music. YOu can be a fan of his music, but he's his own person who deserves to have his own personality whether people like him or not for who he is. He can't change who he is or change his comfort level to please individual people - do we, as individuals, change who we are to please everyone we meet in life? It's just an unrealistic expectation to put on another human being. I do think he is good to his fans, but I think many of his fans have some glorified image of him that he just can't live up to and unfortunately he has to pay the price for that by getting a whole lot of crap dumped on him which I know, hurts him, he does care, because an incident happened just this past July where he was very hurt by a fans complaint, so what does that do, it makes he stay even further away. Well, at least here, Liah, we can talk about this stuff, you can't really talk openly about any of this on his board, it would just be too rude to him to do that, but its good to be able to discuss it all.
