10th and final Clarefest - Sunday 21st June 2009
Martin Weller writes: "A stunning line-up of local musicians is set to play the 10th and final Clarefest on Sunday 21st June 2009.
The event celebrating the life of Clare Millington will include performances by: CRUSH UK, BobKatZ, Joyce Gang, Junkyard Angels, A38s, Boys from Melbourne Street, La La Lympstone and more.
Clarefest has been running for the last decade and hosts Terry and Debbie Chetwood are giving their garden over to the event one more time before they move abroad. Everyone who has been involved since 1999 would like to thank them both for their hospitality and dedication to the cause.
The first act will start around 1pm with music, fun and fundraising going on until 7.30pm - ish.
The admission price of £6 (pay on entry) will be distributed between Macmillan, Hospiscare and the 'Force' cancer charity.

Clarefest has become an established village event raising thousands of pounds for charity.
Clare Millington died aged 56, on July 29th, 1999 from cancer. She loved Lympstone and had many friends and the first Clarefest was an impromptu happening when some of Clare's friends decided to celebrate her life with a get-together.
Clarefest attracts villagers, internationally renowned musicians and supporters from all over the country.
Bring a picnic, ground sheet, sun tan lotion, hat, woolly, raincoat and loadsa dosh.
