Does anyone know how to make rhubarb stems go red? My rhubarb is growing beautifully and the flavour is great but the stems are almost always green, sometimes with a reddish tinge down the bottom but nowhere near as red as anything they have in the shops.
The leaves are pretty big, could they be shading the stems too much?
