I love rhubarb and cook up heaps and heaps with apple and put it into containers and freeze it and have it on my fruit salad for brekky. We have about eight or nine plants so I usually run out of containers rather than produce. All ours are different, some only green, some fat, some skinny and some red and they all produce at different times and differently in different years, so we have all bases covered. I buy plants whenever I see them. Have never had any luck at all with Wanliss giant and have tried three times, but all the others are fine. They say to select for red stems, but some years our greens do better. The main thing is to keep chucking poo on it. It will reward you tenfold. Pam
