Hi sebastion, I have a huge agave plant in a pot and the mother plant is about 4foot across. Can I cut that off and replant into another pot without it dying. I have potted up lots of pups off it and they have done well but need to get the mother repotted because it looks silly because it has a six feet tall stem with the big one on the end tied to my fence. Any suggestions. Thanx. Maureen
