Welcome! Yes, we are open to any kind of abuse in this forum. Its not limited to the subject of the film "The War Zone" on which this message board was based from.
Please feel free and comfortable to vent with us. I was briefly abused by my brother - briefly meaning just a couple of so times, but nothing extensive. Still it was a haunting and painful memory for me. Until this group, I blocked it out of my head. Then, meeting wonderful and awesome caring people on this board (and some being LIFE LONG FRIENDS whom mean the world to me) I was able to tell my story, and finally tell my family -- this was 7 years ago, and I turned 48 last November.
I could ramble on as 2008 was truly life changing events, but just to give you an idea that whatever is hurting you, I hope you can find some comfort here.
