This is a bit haunting this site. It describes a friend of mine to a T. I
am familiar with her early family history and it explains alot about her
current situation.
She is actually now almost 50% of the time, wheelchair bound. Her
immune system is destroyed and she has several diagnosis' that point
to this kind of history. PTSD, Fibromyalgea (sp?), Chronic Fatigue
Syndrome, Depression, Possible narcotic dependance, Anxiety Disorder
(panic attacks), control issues, and the list goes on......
She is a dear friend but I feel helpless to help her. Chronic Stress,
regardless of the source will kill you. In my friends case it's like she is
unable to understand her life is in her own hands. That she is, in fact,
able to form a positive view of the world without planning for eventual
disaster.
