Dear Louise,

Wow, you said some powerful words! I can relate to many levels -- I became depressed after quitting 22+ years of smoking. Successfully on my 7th year, I am still on celexa, finally realizing I did need a bit of help. I just got divorced a year ago after 26 years of marriage. My friends and family don't understand this, but it was really hard to walk away.

And when you said "but that also gave me the freedom to do whatever I wanted, if I wanted to go to the cinema at 12am I could, and did. If I wanted to eat at a nice restaurant I did." Yes!! My freedom keeps me happy and optimistic. I love it.

But anyway, the point is your words were excellent pieces of advice, and I hope they help for you Careasa. I just wanted to acknowledge that its seems as though Louise and I have been there, done that, and able to breath a little easier each day. Careasa, you will get there too. Just be kind to yourself.

Thank you Louise. You are the coolest!

Love and hugs,
Carol
