Louise!!
I'm so glad to hear that you're okay! I was scared for a minute that you'd been injured more than you are.
I completely understand having an attachment to an inanimate object. Especially a car. My close friend and I named our cars. Mine's name is Heathcliff Hyundai and her's is Mildred Mazda. I know that seems silly, but we really love our cars too.
About a month ago, the clutch went out on my car as I was on the highway. I was on my way to visit my parents about 90 minutes away, and instead of staying just the one night, I had to stay for five days until the car got fixed. I thought I was going to go crazy. My car is most definitely my freedom.
Your car obviously meant a lot to you. I'm sure that soon you'll have another car that you can grow to love. In the meantime, just think about resting your body and taking care of yourself. That's the most important thing.
Take it easy,
Careasa
