Evil has a way of just ingenuous nous of the truth that it snakes it's way into our own "Good" Mentality
Thus, we have the "Balloon boy" and other fallacies.
Truth is: as quoted:"Stranger than Fiction"
But in this particular case, we have a script in search of a movie deal, in search of Attention.
Why is America so fascinated with small things, when young people die in the armed services every day?
When
thousands crawl to be rescued in the wake of a horrible Tsunami?
Why Do we as a people, see a child in a well, or a non existent boy in a flying saucer so compelling?
When children all over the world are dying of treatable diseases. Because of the lack of funds.
Should we be trying to save mistreated animals.
YES
But let's save ourselves first. For then we can come to animistic aid.
When I was undergoing cancer therapy, for that year I saw so many children,
crippled and dying from a myriad diseases, that are all called cancer.

I am so incensed, when I see celebrities crying about a cat, when these young people suffer.
These children are our true heroes.
They stay calm, and let the stents in.
Many will not know "what may have been"
And yet:
Here is HOPE!
It is all over them.
It Shines like a light that is lit from within.
I was ashamed when I saw their courage.

And I went down the hall in Hopkins to play a game of chess with my friend bobby,
and the staff while remaking his sheets said:
He had been "Discharged"
I never played chess with Bob again,
For he had been:
"Discharged"
He was 12
