Just a few lines about some stuff. I saw a counselor and she said writing it out helps, and that it's a really good idea. So, after I took a drive today, this little bit came to me:
Autumn is my favorite season.
The chilly days bring hints of winter,
The sunny days recall a hot summer.
The trees make me happy,
Their shock of color beneath looming iron skies.
Bright yellow, bold red, and beautiful orange.
I sit in awe of their brilliance.
The winds make the trees sway and appear to dance,
And shake the colors from their places.
The fluttering bits tumble in flocks
Surrounding me. Reminding me.
The bold colors become dull.
The full trees become bare.
The iron takes over, permeating everything.
And clenches its fist around my heart.
Reminding me that everything always changes.
