....windeeeee....that was an understatement...got out of Ebeneezer around 6:30 into a serious chop with min 2-3 foot swales...headed for the S curves...decided to runon up Haw and see where the birds/bait were....saw birds some 2.5 miles up haw...they were sitting and fishing themselves...None diving, saw very little bait, plus wind was blowing right down the river...settled for trolling the S curves, less windy, with downriggers, at 15 and leadcore, 3.5 colors, bucktails,...nada, not a bite....then settled around 10 o for some downlining fat minnows, nada...by 12:00 decided to call it a day, that was when the fun started....ever try landing an 18 foot boat in 3 foot waves with a floating boat ramp, by yourself....never again, that bout wore me out....managed to not get a scratch on the boat though....always thinking resale....saw 3 other trucks at boat ramp, they were still out when I finally left around 2:00....hope they got out okay....Tightlines
