I noticed that about the noise reduction the other day when i managed to finnaly get hold of a remote release for my 400d

5 minutes noise reduction off - terrible
5 minutes noise reduction on - perfect :)

only problem is it takes just as long or twice aslong to save it it NR on than however long it took to take the photo
