Well, instead of being outside, I'm inside. I should be shooting but my 5D is acting up. The initial problem was with random, 'mushy' vertical banding in the blue channel. It seemed to really get worse with underexposure. With proper exposure, it was still there but very minor and wouldn't be see in a print (before retouching). HOWEVER...now, it seems the more I shoot, the more I'm getting some sort of diagonal pattern noise. It's a perfect pattern that seems to be overlayed onto the image as if there's some sort of magnetic or radio interference. Does anyone have any idea what could cause this or remedy it? Could it be a 3rd party battery issue? Overheating? Will it get worse over time?

I'm in a foreign city and have few options to me right now. I can e-mail jpg's or raws.
