The Clan MacInnes Society welcomes information about Skye McInnes emigrants, and would appreciate any information anyone might have about this family:
In 1840, widow Anne McInnes (55 years) reached NSW on the Henry Porcher with her 3 daughters Mary 26, MaryAnn 20 and Joanna 16. The passemger list says Anne was from Skye, the daughter of Alexander Martin, farmer, & Mary Stewart. Joanna is believed to have married Angus McAlpine in Sydney NSW in 1843.
