: Interested in any information with respect to Alexander Stewart and/or Hannah Hull.  They reportedly emigrated from the Isle of Skye to the United States (probably North Carolina) in the late 1700's bringing with them at least one child, Mary Elizabeth.  Mary Elizabeth's DOB was 08 Jan 1772 at Isle of Skye.  It is reported that Alexander & his wife Hannah returned to the Isle of Skye, leaving Mary Elizabeth behind as she had married to Joseph Cone.
