We're trying to learn more about my grandfather, Murdock John Stewart, who we were told came to Victoria, PEI, from the Isle of Skye. He was born May 8, 1861, died Aug. 8, 1941 in Glace Bay, NS. There was a mention that he had lived in Maine, also. We wonder who his parents were and where they lived in the Isle of Skye and when and where Murdock John Stewart came to either PEI or to Maine. He married Catherine Isabelle Nicholson of PEI and following her death married Margaret Ellen Mackenzie.
