Liz, I'm so glad that Julia had the picture to send to you. All the names you mentioned brings back a flood of memories. Maybe they still lurk and will eventually read what has happened.
Judy
: Hey Bee!
: Julia was faster and already sent me the picture Tricia made of John and me... (Yes! This picture was taken quite a few years ago!!!)
: I also have the whole story (thanks again to Julia!). That's over 308 pages! (Arial, 8 points)
: I remember awaiting for every next chapter at work, because I did not have internet at home then...
: And I remember of a Friday when Tricia had written a chapter and for some reason, I could not get it at work, even with the help of the IT technicians at work...
: I remember Jenny being really upset because I was about to spend the whole weekend without knowing what was happening to Tish...
: Do you remember Jenny? She was only 16 then (her favourite passtime was poking Lloyd Dobbler's nose!)... Molly got kind of aggravated because Tricia's story was a little.. hum... well, you know...
and this was a family board...
: Eventually, to solve my problem, that Friday, Tricia simply posted that chapter on the board, so I could copy it and toke it home to read...
: As Judy and Molly were saying before, this was not only about John Cusack... It went much, much further... I too have very dear friends I met here...
: Plus, as I am reading the posts, I'm thinking about those days... and some names come back...
: Of course, when I saw DW's post, I just went "Doh!"... Stupid me! Especially that I had the chance to meet her... (Where on h ell are you to say "at home in Vancouver", do you, again, spend the winter in Hawaii?)
: Then, I also think of Soon, MaverickGlam, Tweaty...
: And then.. there are those I do not remember the names...
: Do you remember the lady who made quilts? She had made a fantistic one about JC.s movies...
: You know what, at a certain time, you told me I seemed to be one of the old gang who still posted regularly...
: Then, not that long ago, Molly was wondering where was the old gang and I answered we were just waiting for "something interesting" to happend...
: Da mn! Why on earth does it take something so awful to happend to keep contact?
: Yes, Tricia's stories had a big impact on us... In her honour, I vow to keep in touch with the people I love... No more Scarlet O'Hara's thinking anynore... Tomorrow never comes!
: You write to me, I will answer within a week! Scout's honour!
: Liz

: : I think I have that picture somewhere, Liz. I'll try to find it
: : I also have some of Tricias art for a childrens book I believe. So beautiful
