Hi Mallory.
Jam puts it so well and so I will just leave it at that.
I write from Denmark and I am so sad, but when I saw you here it made me smile. It always brings a smile on ones face thinking of Tricia. She meant a lot to this gang as you probably know.
I wish I had met your mother in real life but I am happy that I at least got to know her here.
She was a wonderful person and she lives on in our hearts.
I wish you all the best.
Love from Bee
: Thank you for posting. Somehow, it’s comforting to see you here. I hoped you’d come here one day. Your mother loved you very much and I pray that you’ll keep feeling that love and carry it with you forever.
: I never met Tricia, I just knew her here, in emails, from a few IM sessions, and from blog posts/comments. In the time I knew her, I could tell that you and your brother were never far from her mind. She spoke of you often and attached a picture of you to an email she sent me once. It was random and unsolicited, but being a mother myself, I could tell she was just struck with a spontaneous burst of pride and love for you that she wanted to share. I thought it was very sweet.
: Of course, you know that your mother was a huge Cusack fan and had a lot of fun here for a time! As you can see, she made many cyber friends that are sad to hear that she has passed away. I only know the little bit Judy wrote here on this board regarding what happened to your mom. If you are comfortable sharing any more about that, here or in email, please do so.
: You can know that there are certain things that will always remind me of Tricia. Here are a few I can think of now: the movie “Tapeheads”, John’s curl, and the word *SUBSTANTIAL*.
: I hope you’ll stop by here once in a while.
: Take care, Mallory

: PS
: If you ever run across a postcard sent to your mom from John (actually mailed from his neighborhood in Malibu)… it could possibly be from me.
On a trip there in 2004, I saw postcards at the pharmacy next to Coogie’s and picked one out to send to her. I think I wrote something like, “Tricia, I’m Wishing You Were Here!”. I knew that after a minute of
she’d wonder, “hmmmm, who’s been in Malibu recently?”
