PinkyAnne, I'm so sorry to hear about your experience. Just like DW said, John is not Lloyd Dobbler. I don't think he's trying to change his fan base, because why would he? We've been supporting his lifestyle since he charmed us with that stereo over his head. I do think he's appreciative of us, but he would still like to remain true to himself.
This is way it was such a shock to me to learn that John has a Twitter account. He's such a private person, I'm not surprised that he's eliminating as much shrieking fans (not saying you are, I'm just generalizing here) as he can.
I'm one of those people that do not give a sh/t what John does and how he is in real life, I admire him for his talent and his dedication, and I hope you still remain a fan of John Cusack the actor after this ordeal.
