No, just bare paddocks....rain came too late to get any pasture for lambing. They are getting grain and hay, of course, but its not the same as the green stuff. The ewes just walk away from lambs when the season is bad.
One little mite is just covered in blood, even her mouth was full of it. We found a ewe with lots of blood on her, but she just wasnt interested in the lamb. The other 2 we saw by themselves and marked their heads and left them in case mum came back, but they were still alone when we went back, so home they came. Yes, can see myself with quite a few poddies shortly. If my own bub comes early, i'll be in DEEP DO-DO!!!
