my turn to have a say
drinking is a problem at the moment
but to say pot isnt as bad is just insane ( my point of view)
i work with a lot of young men and see unfortunatly a lot get ruined by pot
yes pot its not addictive ? me not sure but it sure screws with the brain
amd mix pot and alcohol together i read somewere that its worse than smoking heroin and having seen nice young guys within 6 to 12 mths end up ruined
there mates smoke it so why not doesnt do them any harm ( yet )
then it gets to hving a bong set up on the table and basicly you dont go out cause you cant smoke it in the pub so you stay home - you only need a can or to to get of your face so maybe your not drinking as much but the money you saved from not drinking well its gone as well as all the rest
we have guys working here at times and i wish i could take half there pay and put it away for them
they take home heaps over the busy times and they cant afford rego or even to get a car then have trouble with rent - one guy ended up living in a tent because it was less hassle then trying to keep money aside to pay things
you watch as they find it more and more difficult to deal with things anything changes and they start flipping out getting agro abussing others - if it isnt the same day in day out they can not cope if you ask them to do something differant block your ears
one guys is married both he and his wife use they have lots of kids and cant cope he has to stay home mos tof the time so cant work full time she cant handle any of the stuff because of mental probs and he has problems dealing with finding places if we have to send him out of town he cant cope he gets lost and has to ring up for help ( we have gps on all vehicles ) we have to give him directions even though he has maps
the ability to cope with any thing out of the ordinary really seems to disappear
my hubby also did lots when he was young - it didnt affect him this way but i do find his memory is really bad hes only 40 and he has to keep asking the same questions or he gets some idea in his head and runs with it like buying a bread knife for work wich he has done 2 times now and both times ive told him we had one already ??
dont discount the affects of this drug its not harmless and more people are finding themselves with mental problems caused by this drug
