Wouldn't it be better to take half the pay to help them? Not everyone can be helped but I don't think everyone is hopeless, some people can change if they are given a chance and the help they need. Other no matter what you do they can't but I would give them the chance wouldn't you. Then they may be a better worker. I don't give up on many people or much of anything. Everyone should have a second chance.
