I know this is maybe a stupid Question over here and there was someone I thought that had rabbits over on the chook chat I see the post I posted was not to be there since it is not there any longer which I have said to do that OY VEY... anyhow I came across this chicken site and on it was this picture
It was very small and if it is now very large I am sorry I wanted you to see this. Sorry so long. The picture you see is a liver of a chiccken with tuberculosis, No,I don't think my chicken have this, so far so good with Brunehilda, Anyhow this last litter of baby bunnies I had ended their lives had odd familar things in there Liver. I saw this picture and I shreaked OH NO IT CAN"T BE!!! nearly all the babies had this stuff in them BUT... BUT... it doesn't look exactly like this picture. Ok now what I saw in their liver (I wish I took a picture now) was long and it seemed to me to be a bug well not exactly a bug it was small and bug shaped I can't explain anymore and if you cut the sag ?? open it was either like a gooy pus like really runny or it was much harder and kinda like a cheesy kind of goop, nothing like a bug. they weren't very large but they were to numerous to county. I have been raising bunnies since 1997 and this is the first time I seen this, Terry has been feeding them a different food then I do I figure if they eat it it's fine but since that when I ended their lives I saw this stuff I thought at first it was fat in the liver till I got poking around. I did all the binnues and looked at other organs as well but the liver was the only thing. I looked up on the net but it said it was all through the chickens body. I hate to throw all the bunnies away but I don't want TB either, Terry says if they have it that when I cook them (350 to 400 degrees) it would kill the TB if they had it. So is true rabbits can't get TB. Anyne have anything they can tell me?
