I am a dog person so I may need help here.
One of his daughter's cats had kittens and one is not doing so well they are still drinking from the mother and don't want anything to do with food they have a lot of teeth in their mouths. When a puppy has teeth in it's mouths I then start the puppy food, it is wet and sloppy we call it puppy mush. This kitten is in real bad shape it does not walk (it just can lay) it was able to walk before but it is going down hill they were born behind the dish washer so we didn't know there was 4 till yesterday I think this is the one we didn't know about. I bought some kitty milk it is like the dog milk for pups I am second guessing and thinking I should of used Goats milk No not from my goats can't, I don't know where I can get fresh I would rather that if I could find it. Anyhow I have it in a plastic thing it is the bottom of a litter box but no litter. and I have it wrapped in a towel I feed it a few drops when it makes noise. It is cold the mouth is all white and has fleas I know I shouldn't of did this but I saw the fleas and thinking the fleas are making the gums white I put some water on the kitten to try to get them where I could see them and take them off the little kitty. many left it. but now I wonder if I am missing something I could do. I would take it to the vet but I don't think the vet can do much more then I am other then charge me a heafty payment for services. I know a lot and I am treating this like a dog in feeding but I don't hold much hope when Terry gets home I will ask what he thinks if I should not try anymore or just let nature take it's course. His daughter doesn't care, she doesn't want to to anything for it and it is her kitten. If I said all she had to do was feed it to make it better she wouldn't even do this when the first litter was born to mama kitty the kittens had a discharge from their eyes, I told her to wipe the eyes with warm water and do this 3 times a day she didn't do it the eyes were so bad I finally couldn't take it I got them cleared up and it was a infection I put a triple antibiotic oitment on the eyes I said I am not sure what will happen I don't know if it could blind them or kill them or what but I said it is worth a try. You know what the eyes cleared right up My cat Yellow cat is one I did, he is fine.
What should I do. I am not going to stop treating it yet we'll see what tomorrow brings but if I am missing doing some and anyone knows what that is let me know I am keeping the kitten warm it is with me as I sit around here I have to put it down when I do things.
