Sat. was the first day of deer season (bow) I don't not hunt with a bow and arrow I can't pull the thing back even if I could I would not I feel I would not be good at this. Anyhow Terry went hunting and got a spike this is a deer with short horns it was 105 lbs. We didn't have deer that night but the next day he grilled some tender loin with bakon around it and it had been marinated in stuff. I wish I knew how to cook as good as Terry but if I did we would be huge (fat)
I usually take some meat from the deer and I some the heart and liver to chop it up for the chickens and dogs and now cats. Everyone knows what time it is when a deer comes in Goldie is the most vocal she screams (I mean this literally) for some deer who says they (chickens) are dumb animals?
Just thought you might like to know how opening day of deer season when. I don't know if there is anyone else on here that hunts something.
