i child can beleive that it is ok and allow it to happen as they dont know any better and if it is someone who they really like and who gives them nice things then they think it is ok even normal
but it could also be a bad case of the tummy bug from something eaton so i guess you have to be patient and just keep watch
if the mother took the child to the hospital them she was worried that is a good sign and if it keeps happening then she will have to delve deeper
like all women you are a worrier we worry over every little thing that is normal just try not to overeact at this stage as it could cause you more damage than them
