Agreed. But often mothers are the last to believe and admit their 'loved'
partner is harming a child. And it is easy for the child to be
intimidated, either with threats of punishment "our little secret' etc.
They were discussing this on the radio this morning and one of the
doctors said that if abuse is suspected , it is everyone's problem. A
hard choice to make. If you do talk about it, you can bet a bigger rift
will happen between the families....
