I would like to share with all my fellow light-workers some of the wonders in healing my family and I have experienced during 2009. We've come such a long day that it is almost surrealistic. Ever since I had neck surgery, two years ago, my family and I had many issues to work through. One of the biggest issues centered around co-dependency and my need to be a superhero, which took precedence over taking care of myself or delegating responsibilities to my offspring, who needed a chance to take care of themselves and fly out of the nest - get jobs, help out around the home, etc., etc.
I am now engaged to a wonderful man who has gone through many journeys with me and on his own. We broke up twice during my recovery from my surgery, as we both had more learning to do on our own, but we still loved each other so much that we gradually got back together, always starting off as good friends. Last year he accompanied me to my best friend's house in Okema, Oklahoma to help her give birth at home. The healing energy flowed through me like it never has before as I assisted her in her five hour labor, and the midwife showed up only ten minutes before baby Zack slid gently into this world, as I was holding the birthing mama. That was such an amazing experience!
About six weeks later we went to the Woody Guthrie festival - Judy Collins was playing - and everybody kept saying the show was going to be rained out. My family and my friend's family arrived finally at 8:00 p.m. and it started to pour. My daughter, Nina, said, "You know what they say about the weather in Oklahoma, right? If you don't like it, wait a minute!" I was so excited and said, "That's right - just wait a minute!" I then became a whirling dervish and somehow spontaneously began to communicate with the rain devas. I danced and light everywhere and said, "It isn't even raining at all!" (it was pouring), and then I used my hands to direct energy towards the clouds and said, "Look - its dissipating!" and it did! The rain held back and actually provided us with a light show all around the perimeter of the horizon and Nature's own air conditioning! The show was amazing - Judy's voice is still pristine, and she said that the Sixties are back again! The energy was amazing.
This summer, my fiancee and I took three of my kids out to New Mexico for the National Rainbow Family of Living Light Gathering. It was held in the Santa Fe National Forest, and my best friend and three of her kids (including Zack, who is now a little over 1), and her diabetic husband. Jeff (my fiancee) and I did lots and lots of service work, but we also were there for the Om circle ending and became part of the Kid Parade. Later on, there was a double rainbow which grew brighter and brighter as we drummed and sang and became one with the rainbow! Jeff and I did get to dance around the Bliss Pit in the middle of the night the last night we were there. We were warmed to the very core of our bodies, which kept us warm the whole 10 minute hike up to our camp, and this was the only night it didn't rain, so we got to take our rain flap down and watch the stars from inside our tent. It was lovely!
On our journey home, I accidentally smashed my hand in our car door, but somehow didn't break a single bone (it was smashed for over a minute - I couldn't figure out how to open the door because it hurt so badly). Being so happy, I was barely aware of the pain - my hand let me know its limitations and I took very good care of her, and now she is all better.
Jeff and I found a wonderful place to live (we've been living separately all this time we've been dating - we wanted to be really, truly sure, and I'm so glad we waited), and I placed my most powerful crystal on the ad the night before we went to see the place. We walked in to see our new beautiful home holding hands, our hearts open, and once we stepped inside, we realized this was truly the home for us!
It has four bedroom, four fireplaces, two living rooms, a huge kitchen and dining room and all kinds of other helpful features like a beautifully landscaped backyard and at least 13 closets! I'm stronger than ever before, although moving is hard, and now I've received an amazing attunement from a very dear friend and more and more light is flowing through me every day!
My daughter, Alyssa, now has a good job at a Thai Restaurant called Sweet Basil and has started junior college at OCCC with me! She's taking online classes - and this is my last semester! I'll have my Associate's Degree in Humanities with an emphasis on English Literature in December!
I love everybody in the world, and much love to all who visit this sacred space. I wanted to share this story because our family has been through so very, very much, and because of that, we are incredibly thankful to be living in this home. Its perfect for us - but the home is simply a symbol for the growing we've done energetically! We didn't get this home until we were ready to handle it - and we're here now!
I just want to thank all the people who prayed for my family and me when I was in jail for three long months almost six years ago. Those prayers and my own prayers and visualizations have helped us through a long, hard journey that was blessedly filled with light and love, and now our dreams are all coming true!
The point is, if this kind of miracle has happened to our family; then these kinds of miracles are accessible to every family who is in a place of need. We call all change and grow with focus and intent!!!!!
