I was adopted through Catholic Charities, Albany, NY. Born July 14, 1960 at former Brady Hospital, adopted December 1960. Both parents were Irish-German Catholic. Mother single, father separated from wife and family at the time. She was into swimming, horseback riding and tennis, worked for a large firm, probably the State. He was 5'11", had blue eyes, brown hair, worked construction, was into swimming, basketball and bowling. At one month of age I had surgery for pyloric stenosis. Harold Koreman, Surrogate of Albany County, signed the adoption. That's the non-identifying info I was given. I am registered with the NY State Adoption Registry, but have never been contacted. Was told I had a "German-sounding" name at birth. Looking for any information, or suggestions.
