I was born Baby Girl Colwall at Highland Hospital, Rochester, NY. Birth certificate says birth mom was Margaret Josephine Holliday, but I think that was an alias as I have been searching for over 20 years for someone with that name. A formal adoption never took place because, as I was told, relinquishment papers were never signed. I was handed over outside the hospital doors to a Lois Spencer (maiden name) who took me to her home. She had me in her home for 6 months and called me Lois Ann until she took me to the Russells in Rochester. They raised me in a good home. I was told that my birth mother visited me off and on until I was 4 or 5 years old and that my birth mother was pregnant at least once during that time.
