my birth date is oct. 30, 1961- the records from surrogate's court county of westchester - new york show that my adopted parent's- john and anita b adopted me on the 5th day of april, 1963- the name on the petition states "Joseph Nickolas Martin".The adoption was out of the new york foundling hospital by Agnes Blaine ( known in religion as sister Marie Catharine) as treasurer and the Burrachio's as foster parents.Grace N. I have letters my BM wrote to the New Foundling Hosp...I know you took 5 mths to sign the papers...I know you were 20...your Mom died 2 mths later in Dec at the same time I was born on a Monday...you needed to take care of your younger siblings...you had ones at well...you had a lot of guilt...BD and you dated for 4 years...
