My birthparents married in 1957{bmother gloria schenk,bfather edward sideratos},my father jumped ship and through a intermiediary married my birthmother to remail in the united states.He was arrested in 1958 and releaed on bail,he was deported back to greece in 1961.
My birthmother at the time of mine na dmy twins admission was on public assistance and living in a hotel{sherman square motel in manhattan nyc},the conditions were poor.
Mother had difficulty managing the feeding and care of twins,because of a hotel fire,welfare was slow,her limitations,placement seemed best. she wanted to bring us home but was unable to plan,it was unclear if she ever told her family about us and did not seek their help. she did work in salesm she used alias,her last visit with me was june 28,1967,that visit upsetted me and her.
i was born june 7,1967,one or two surviing triplets,one died at brith, my feternial twin and I were referred to ny foundling by department of social services june 19,1967,a social worker and my birthmother brought us down,I was suffering from pink eye and placed in nursery B,alone, my sister went to another foster family but i remaine din the nyfoundling nursery also due to chicken poxs,june 30,1967.
adoption was the bets plan for us and my feternial twin and I were reunited sept 14,1967 in the foster home later my adopted parents home in bay shore long island, ny.
baptized june 21,1967 at st.vincents ferrer catholic church manhattan ny
bf was born in greece in 1935,he lived in canada,he wanted my bm to come up there but she wnated a divorce,he refused divorce,she got preg with us in 1966,his whereabouts after{deported} was unknown.
bm was born march 11,1931 in northeast ny,she was 4'11 ,reddish blonde hair,blue eyes, and somewhat lethargic,her converations were logical but repeated herse3lf she was overweight,she looked younger then her yrs,8th grade education,she worked as a domestic,sales,factory and bartender.

my maternial grandfather was german,his first wife irish,she died in 1933,my maternial aunt was 32,my uncle was 29,he was injured as a child at age 7,
grandfather remarrie din 1936,the adopted my birthmother and teh son lived with them,my bm was in jail when my grandfather died,she blamed herself for his heart attack because she was on the news but he had heart problems, she didn't get to go to his funeral,he probley dided in 1965{?} as she was falsely arrested in 1965 and spent 21 days in the womens detention center in ny,ny possiblie brooklyn.
