I know this is a trying time for all of us on
our planet. Reading St. Catherine's message this month seems to be telling
us that things will get better. As she has told us many times over the past
year, our spending and importance placed on material things needs to change.
This is a time where we have to take personal responsibility and not rely on
our governments for all the answers. I hear from many of my clients and friends
about their concerns and troubles created by the economic situation we are
all in right now. This month I decided to give those spiritual seekers who

ST. CATHERINE'S MESSAGE TO THE WORLD FOR OCTOBER
2008

This is a time in everyone's life where the world is
changing for the better, even though it may not seem so. We have talked in the months before about being
careful with individual spending and especially spending out of control. It
is time to take stock of what you are doing as individuals in your lives.
It is not a good time to fear what is going on in the world or its economy,
because fear can create exactly that which one fears. You will find that within 30 days from today that
there will be so many changes for a better way of life. Everyone will be
amazed. With the changes in the leadership in America, there will be so much
more love and understanding across the world. Money will begin to be spent
on important things and many of the frivolous things that the government has
been spending on in the past will no longer be allowed. Citizens all over
will demand more of an accounting on the way their money is spent. It is also important for all of you to pray for each
other. You will see that countries the world over will be coming together
for a deeper understanding of each other. When one country suffers on a
financial basis, they all suffer. The people of the world depend on each
other. So everyone will help each other and make great strides in bettering
each individual country's economy and relationships.
It may not appear so, but it is a wake up call for
everyone to do their individual duty to take self responsibility for your
own finances. Never will things be the way they have been before. But money
across the world will be spent with much more careful planning than ever
before.
Each of you must give a hand to those suffering;
especially those on the shore lines of Texas and Louisiana and others who
have suffered great catastrophes across the world. Some of these people do
not have the means to help themselves. This is the beginning of peace on earth. And as you
know, there is an old saying, "It is darkest before the dawn." But the new
dawn is coming sooner than anyone thinks. God Bless, Catherine MARY SURRATT SAYS '"NO, I DIDN'T HELP TO KILL
ABRAHAM LINCOLN." I want to share one of the most shocking experiences
I have had with the dead. A few years ago, People Magazine asked me to come
to their offices in Washington D.C. They introduced me to a military
officer who was stationed at a nearby army post in downtown D.C. He had
been having a weird experience. Each evening when he was getting off work,
he would look up at the officer's quarters and see a woman in the window.
She looked so sad as if she were trying to say something. He inquired
within the quarters and the residents told him that she was a ghost, always
walking down the hall and looking out the window. The reporters at People Magazine introduced me to
this officer and he took me to the Army post. The officer's quarters were
built right beside a tennis court. The tennis court was built over the
gallows where Mary Surratt and others were hanged for participating in the
assassination of Abraham Lincoln. It was a cold dreary day in D.C. I was really cold;
I sat down on a bench near where the gallows had once been erected. I asked
God to protect me and then before I even began to give the spirit permission
to channel through me; the spirit of Mary began screaming through me. "I
didn't do it; I didn't do it! Just ask Lewis and he will tell you." I was
so shocked and shook up that I asked my friend to call me out of the trance.
The officer looked at me so strangely. "Do you know anything about the
hanging that took place here over one hundred years ago? "No, I sure don't,
Why?" "Because Lewis Payne was one of the men who was hung at the same time
Mary Surratt was hung. Before they hung him, he said, "You will regret
hanging Mary; she had nothing to do with it at all." The officer was beside
himself. It was raining and snowing at the same time so we hurried to his
car. I promised to come back when he got permission to go inside the
quarters. We would set her free; but we never got together again. I got

the good of the mankind.
Even we in INDIA believe that only prayers and
complete surrender to ALMIGHTY can avert the catastrophe looming over the
world. Our swamiji SHRI SHIVKRIPANAND SWAMI has been teaching "samarpan
dhyan" i.e. meditation by surrendering oneself to GOD. I was surprised to
note that you believe in reincarnation. In the south India, there are old
scriptures written by ancient rishis (saints) which help the reader to
predict one's past, present & future births with the help of his thumb
impressions. Unfortunately, we Indians are running away from spiritual self
and becoming more materialistic... ..please pray for us. God willing, I
would love to meet you personally sometime. Love

I really enjoy reading the newsletter each month. I
saw where people were talking about dreams. It is not so much that I dream
this but there is a number that keeps coming up and I see it so many
times... the number is 1111. I can look at a clock and can not figure out
why so many times this is the time>>>> wonder if this would mean anything.

DO PEOPLE REINCARNATE WITHIN A YEAR?
Hi Elizabeth!! I have a question that really
bothers me. I often see mediums contacting relatives that have passed over
years ago. If most people reincarnate within a year, how can this be? Kathy, Unknown Location ---------------------------- Dear Kathy: You can't believe everything you hear or see on
television. After all, many mediums are in business to make lots of money
and are not dedicated to their "gift". Some are into sensationalism that
draws crowds. I will try to explain: The Native American belief
is that when a person dies, his or her spirit sticks around for one year to
allow the loved ones who are left behind to grieve and to get on with their
purpose. Then that spirit can go on to their particular
pathway......reincarnating right away or staying out there in the spirit
realm to learn from the great teachers on the "other side". Then their next
lifetime can be more loving and productive. However, if the loved ones here on earth, hang on to
their mother, their spouse or their child, it heeds the progress of that
soul to go on to their destiny. Loved ones left here who are mentally
dysfunctional will hold on to the past and many times need to go for
counseling of some kind to get on with their life. There is a divine plan
for each soul that comes here and none of us have the right to hold on to
another individual and stop his or her progress on to the Light of God; but
we do. When we are left behind through a death of our loved one, it's
because our mission is not finished. The thing to do at that time is to
find our purpose and carry it out. That is why we came here in the first
place. Last comment: You need to be aware that sometimes a
medium will be saying that they are talking to someone on the other side,
when they are really picking up on the obsessions and memories that the
loved one holds for their deceased. There is a place called Heaven; so please let your
loved ones who have finished their purpose on this earth enjoy the place
where they deserve to go. A medium is a channel who speaks and channels
spirits; but when I do a life reading and a loved one comes through; I try
to encourage the client to dialogue with the soul of that person; and
eventually say goodbye. That should be done during that year in which the
