What Is The God Principle?
677-7-09

Subject: 1) The 'god principle' [the belief in God]
is a man-made concept
2) looking or praying to god for answers is placing
the responsibility outside of yourself and making
something outside of yourself greater

When you consider that really, the whole point of the god principle is
nothing more than humankind / mankind creating a perspective of
something that is greater than the self in order to justify their not
choosing, then you realize what we're saying. True? [Yes.] You
consider for a moment how many of you justify not choosing; justify
not exercising your ability to choose because god will take care of
it.

It's nice to be wrapped up in the arms of god so you never have to
worry about it again. You never have to choose. God will do everything
for you. God will save you. God will take care of you. God will
protect you. God will make you rich. God will make you famous. Thank
god, you're famous. Thank you god for everything. You see? If it
wasn't for god you wouldn't be here.

It's really nice, isn't it? That nice, warm, fuzzy feeling that
felling that god is always there. But what happens when god doesn't
answer your prayers and god isn't there and god doesn't exactly do
what you want it to do? What happens then?

Participant: Then we justify it. We justify that the reason - it's not
that it's not being answered, it is that we haven't tuned into that
frequency that allowed us to hear it.

Right. You're not good enough. You're not capable enough. You're
missing something. So you are lacking in some way, shape or form and
if you get past that then what happens? Then you get into the anger at
god. After all, it is not your fault. You're not lacking. It's god
that is not answering. So then you get into anger.

So really god is nothing more than a justification for you not
choosing. Because if you simply chose and recognized that it is your
ability to choose that creates movement, that creates opportunities
for more choice, well then you wouldn't need god, would you? If you
loved yourself, would you need that warm, fuzzy feeling you get from
god? You see? If you appreciated all that you were, would you need god
to be there to tell you that you're doing a good job; that you're
great? Would you need a god to be able to give you the things you
can't give to yourself? There wouldn't be anything you couldn't give
to yourself because you would choose to give it to yourself or you
would choose not to. Do you see the point? So now you'd become
conscious really of your own choices, wouldn't you? So you'd quit
blaming god and start choosing.

There are more than a few surprises in this workshop even for the
seasoned participants. The Wonders suggest that all lack,
insufficiency, and justification are the result of believing in god.
They also describe 'the essence' and how through simplicity we will
come to know that essence in ourselves. This series contains much new
material. Listen to the recording now!
