Trin,
I just went to the compost pile to deposit the kitchen scraps there and was humming to myself..What I was humming was a song that I heard on Saturday morning while driving and listening to the Italian program, which I do rarely because the car radio gets it, but the home radio doesn't. I heard a song that came out in the '60s and I had not heard or sang at least since '69, the year I moved to the US. However, I discovered I had not forgotten the words and started to sing along with it.
So, tonight, on the way to the compost pile I was admiring my roses that are blooming. (My husband swears the compost pile must be in the next county...it takes me that long for me to go there and come back). Absentmindly I started to hum that song, but stopped short and translated the words into English.
So, here it goes:
"Love, come back, all the gardern are abloom.... "
I made the connection with your post and rushed inside not wasting a minute to tell you. A beautiful validation, isn't it?
Love,
Maria
