Thanks, for the feedback that sounds like a simple and light weight solution, I will give it a try.

: Nice to see that my pics have inspired you to find your solutions. When I re-rigged the boat, some things were not all that clear. So I waited to mount deckware and found temperary solutions. Most of them are still in place. One of those was a line from the mastfoot sideways to the end of the mastbeam. Just a line with several 8-figure knots in it. This gave me the possibility to trim sideways. The sheet goes trough a block on a short line that is hooked between two knots on the sideways line. The short line can be ajusted; down closes the leech of the sail, up opens it up. I use the same sheeting for the screecher. If need be (on downwind courses) I take the short line with block further outward an hook it into whatever strong point I can find for optimal trim.
