I don't think there is any real difference between the two versions of Gyspy. Some people want a round bilge boat instead of the flat panel boat. Although probably the round bilge version will have a bit more speed and a smoother ride.

I am currently in La Paz, Mexico and hope to sail on Lightwave later this week.
