BTW ... some more thoughts on what *I* would like in a design ...

1) a "folding" design sounds nice, but I'm worried it would add too many complications, especially in design and construction. Foldable is a nice feature for docking, but on a daysailor/pocket cat, I don't think that's a major concern.

IMO, a means of having the amas (and associated aka) unmount from the mainuhll for transport would be fine. If they could then slot in and then bolted/tightened via trampolines would be sufficient. It would increase time to launch/load, but if it's under an hour, I'd be happy.

2)I suppose you're planning a berth in the front to sleep 2 and then settes under the (removable) cabin (that could be used to sleep 2 more).

For me, that would suffice and allow for custom build of areas ... For example, a minimalistic head (e.g. pull out porta-potti), and perhaps sacrificing one settee for a very simple galley.

3)If possible, keep the total weight under 300kg. This might be the hardest constraint, but hopefully a simpler design for "dismounting" (vs folding) might make it realistic.
