FANTASTIC FEELING!!! I now know how sailors have felt for thousands of years. I was being moved across the water by the wind in a deliberate direction. I am so proud of my Strider Club, sailing only with the jib I was able to take my boat in any direction except of course directly into the wind. I spent the best 5 hours I can remember in a long time sailing that boat.Tacking and jibing and close hauling and running, trying to do it all. I had a good steady wind and was able to let the boat teach me how much angle, sail, rudder, and patience it needed to get me where I wanted to go. Oh I'm hooked bad on this sailing stuff, and will be out every week-end enjoying it. Again I want to thank all associated with this web site for your help and patients, Thank You!!!
